Rak Offshore: We are registered agents for RAK offshore companies. So we register offshore companies in the offshore jurisdiction of Ras Al Khaimah, UAE, open bank accounts for them in Dubai, and provide nominee and virtual office services for offshore clients.

We are based in Dubai and are registered agents for Ras Al Khaimah, while we incorporate via partners in the other tax havens.

Offshore incorporation in Ras Al Khaimah is the quickest if your clients need the company for Middle East investments.

Whether to own property, or companies, or even yachts.

RAK offshore incorporation is the easiest to do in the Middle East.

One of the very important features of RAK offshore is that its company documents do not need any attestations for use in the GCC countries!

RAK offshore company formation including Registration, Registered office, Memorandum and Articles of Association, Certificate of Incorporation, Share Certificates and Bank account in Dubai branch is AED 12,900 [US$ 3500] for the first year and then US$ 2000 annually.

Documents required are passport copy (authenticated), bank statement/utility bills and original bank reference.

Once your Know Your Client (KYC) documents are in, the company incorporation takes 2 working days. The bank account opening takes 14 – 21 days after that since we need to send you the application form only after the company is incorporated.

If you are in Dubai, the bank account opening could be completed within 4 working days after the company incorporation.

Ras Al Khaimah [RAK], the only offshore jurisdiction in the Middle East, offers a safe haven for the registration of offshore companies.

Here are some key features:

* The minimum capital of the company can be as low as US$ 1

* The minimum number of shareholders and directors is one

* No bearer shares or differential classes of shares are allowed. However, there is no requirement to deposit the capital in bank

* 100% foreign ownership permitted and 100% tax and duty exemption

* Opening a corporate bank account in a bank at Dubai, UAE, is permitted

* Company registration can be done only via a registered agent

* The investors need not visit the authority to incorporate the company, however the documents need to be signed in the registered agent’s office

* Audited accounts will be requested only in the case of suspicious activities

* No company document attestation required within the GCC

* RAK is not a signatory to any information exchange

The RAK offshore company is the least expensive and the best option if you wish to use the company in the Middle East, since its documents will not require attestation

RAK offshore companies offer many benefits to your different types of clients. Here are some of them:

* Online Stock traders: The owner is the offshore company not the individual, so profits can be kept offshore

* Importers & Exporters: Can use these companies for invoicing or purchasing

* Consultants: Can sign contracts via the offshore company and can become its employee

* Expatriates: Can save their earnings via offshore, and build capital to invest in homes, businesses or the financial markets via the RAK offshore companies

* Insurance beneficiaries: RAK offshore companies can be the beneficiaries of the policy. Individuals become company shareholders.

* Internet marketers: Receive web payments into offshore bank account of the RAK offshore company

*Business owners: Own their businesses via RAK offshore companies to ensure succession and tax planning.

Rak Investment Authority (RAKIA) was constituted in the northern emirates of Ras Al Khaimah, in 2005 as per directives of His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, the crown prince and deputy ruler of Ras Al Khaimah.

In the process, it transformed Ras Al Khaimah into an investment destination with over a thousand foreign investors setting up operations within the emirate in just a short period of time.

Within 3 years of its inception RAKIA has more than 1600 companies under its portfolio. Dr. Khater Massad-personal advisor of H.H Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi was appointed as the chief executive officer of RAKIA.

This Semi-governmental agency whose mandate is to work towards reinforcing the investment climate in the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah and promote its various economic sectors; proposes investment policies and supervises their implementation.

RAKIA has literally transformed Ras Al Khaimah into an investment magnet with over a thousand foreign investors setting up operations within the emirate in just a short period of time.

Main advantages of RAKIA are the following:

100% income and corporate tax exemptions

No Import or Export Taxes

No Income, Sales or Wealth Tax

100% Repatriation of Capital & Profits

No restrictions on hiring expatriates

Land at very Concessional Rates

25 Years Renewable Lease Agreements

Proximity to Entire Gulf and Global Markets

Rak investment authority acts as one stop shop for all investor needs. Its services include offering business licenses (Free Zone and Non Free Zones), visas, industrial plots, warehouses, labour accommodation, commercial space, building permits etc.

Rak investment authority provides all necessary infrastructure and approvals under one umbrella for all investors including partnering them for their projects in UAE.

Rak government’s vision is that Ras al khaimah investment authority becomes leading authority in making sound investments in Rak and partner with others who share their vision, enabling them to achieve their objectives, at the same time creating a sustainable and growing economy.

With RAKIA’s success in attracting companies and inward investment to the emirate, plenty of opportunities for corporate services are on the horizon.

RAKIA has formed RAKOFFSHORE which is a true offshore facility and regularity body offering complete offshore non-resident business registration and financial services.

The International Offshore Centre (known as “RAK Offshore“) is a free zone regulated by the RAK Investment Authority (RAKIA).

Incorporating as an IBC in RAK can be done much speedier than in the other UAE free zones and lacks the requirements that are typical in these free zones.

Rak offshore is the cheapest offshore in the Middle East. If properly structured, offshore company formation is an excellent, tax-efficient strategy for entrepreneurs to conduct their international business.

Rak offshore allows any non-resident individual or moral entity to open a company registered within RAK free zone. They require a symbolic capital and only one director and shareholder.

They can hold board meetings anywhere in the planet and identity of their shareholders are kept confidential by law unless there is any suspicion of any criminal activity by Rak and UAE regulatory bodies.

RAK Offshore, together with Ras al Khaimah is a new commercial and tourism hub through a number of road shows in Western and Eastern Europe, India and Korea among other.

RAK Investment Authority is at the forefront of the Ras al Khaimah Government’s initiatives to diversify the economy, and is responsible for promoting the development of the Industrial zone and the Free Zone in Al Hamra, and the Industrial Park in Al Ghayl.

Rakia’s ongoing success in establishing reforms, instituting new laws and regulations and enforcing policies that are hospitable to local, regional or international investors.

Ultimately, the government proactive support and involvement in the ongoing economic revolution is aimed at raising standard of living of both citizens and residents of the emirates, while ensuring long-term socio economic sustainability.

Information about Ras Al Khaimah

Ras al khaimah is in the northern part of the Persian Gulf. It is in the northern part of the UAE bordering Oman. The emirate has a population of about 250,000 inhabitants. Ras Al Khaimah is one of the United Arab Emirates. It covers an area of 656 square miles (1700 km²).

It is ruled by Sheikh Saqr bin Mohammad al-Qassimi. The city has two main sections Old Ras al Khaimah and Nakheel on either side of the creek which flows through Ras Al Khaimah.

History of Ras al-Khaimah

The city was historically known as Julfar.

In the early 18th century the Qawasim clan (Huwayla tribe) established itself in Ras al Khaimah.

After British occupation (18 December 1819 – July 1821), Sheikh Sultan bin Saqr al-Qasimi signed in 1822 the General Maritime Treaty with Britain, accepting a protectorate keeping the Ottoman Turks out.

Like Ajman, Dubai, Umm al-Qaiwain and Sharjah, its position on the route to India made it important enough to be recognized as a salute state (be it of the lowest class: only 3 guns).

In 1869 Ras al Khaimah became fully independent from Sharjah. However from September 1900 to 7 July 1921 it was re-incorporated into Sharjah, its neighbor; the last governor became its next independent ruler.

On 11 February 1972 Sheikh Saqr bin Muhammad al-Qasimi joined the United Arab Emirates.

Education in Ras al-Khaimah

Schools: Ras Al Khaimah has been at the forefront where formal school education is concerned. A large number of Government-run schools – primary, elementary and higher secondary are scattered all over Ras Al Khaimah with Arabic as their main medium of instruction.

Among other Arabic-medium schools are those that are run by private managements viz,

The Egyptian School
Badr Primary School

Apart from the above schools, there are English-medium ones which offer varied curricula to suit the expatriate community, offering syllabi such as GCSE, IGCSE, A Levels, O Levels, CBSE, Kerala State-Board (Indian Syllabi), Pakistani, etc. viz.

Ras Al Khaimah English Speaking School

The International School of Chouiefat

Indian School Ras Al Khaimah

The New Indian Higher Secondary School

Pakistani Higher Secondary School

Indian Public High School

Transportation in Ras al-Khaimah

Within Ras Al Khaimah: Metered taxis are the main mode of transport within Ras Al Khaimah with fares starting AED 1 (Formerly the fare was negotiable between driver and passenger but all non-metered taxis were phased out by the year 2001).

Buses are also available but only on long-haul routes and they cater mainly to people residing in far-flung towns viz. Sha`am, Rams, Jazeerah-al-Hamra, etc.

Over the past 2 years, Ras Al Khaimah has seen a phenomenal increase in road-traffic especially during evening hours.

With Ras Al Khaimah also being a sought-after weekend getaway destination for people from various parts of the Emirates, traffic has been increasing progressively.

Emirate-to-Emirate: Ras Al Khaimah is well connected to emirates like Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain and Fujairah by taxis which often embark from the taxi-stand located at Jazeerah-al-Hamra. Engaged taxis are available on request.

Cars are available for rent from various Rent-A-Cars at negotiable prices.

Highways: Two free-flowing dual-carriageways link Ras Al Khaimah with the other northern emirates and beyond.

One follows the coast with beautiful beaches on the one side and stretches of desert on the other; the other, new route runs out towards the airport in the direction of Khatt, Fujairah and Dhaid.

Nowadays, The Emirates Highway is being used aplenty by most motorists. The highway traverses the emirates of Umm Al Quwain, Ajman and Sharjah to finally end up in Dubai.

Most travelers would agree that it connects Ras Al Khaimah to Dubai in less than 45 minutes.

Seaport: Saqr Port, located in the industrial area of Khor Khuwair is the Emirate’s main port providing bulk and container services. It has eight deep water berths, each 200m long, is dredged to 12.2m and has two ro-ro ramps plus specialized berths for handling bulk cement and aggregate.

Other services include ship handling, crew changes and 40,000m2 of covered storage together with a vast open storage area. It is also the closest port in the UAE to Bandar Abbas in Iran.

Airport: The Ras Al Khaimah International Airport is currently undergoing an upgrade. It operates cargo and passenger services to a variety of destinations covering the Middle East, North & East Africa, Central Asia, India and the Far East.

In total 27 airlines including Gulf Air, Egypt Air, Indian Airlines, Aeroflot, Pakistan International Airlines and many other airlines operate scheduled and non-scheduled flights.

Ras al khaimah is in the northern part of the Persian Gulf.

It covers an area of 656 square miles. The Emirate is ruled by Sheikh Saqr bin Mohammed al Qassimi.

It is in the northern part of the UAE bordering Oman. Previously affiliated with Sharjah, Ras al khaimah become separate sheikhdom under British protection in 1921.

After some hesitation, the sheikhdom joined the United Arab Emirates on 11th February 1972.

The city of Ras Al Khaimah is divided into two parts by a creek. The western part, known as “Old Ras Al Khaimah”, comprises government departments, educational institutions, shopping malls, hotels as well as residential areas and new construction projects.

The eastern part, known as Al Nakheel, houses the Emiri Court, some government departments, markets, Ras Al Khaimah Exhibition Center, hospitals and residential areas housing the majority of the city’s population. A bridge and a network of modern roads link the two parts of the city.

Ras al khaimah formed Ras Al Khaimah Investment Authority under the leadership of H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi the Crown Prince & Deputy Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah.

The International Offshore Centre (known as “RAK Offshore”) is a free zone regulated by the RAK Investment Authority(RAKIA). The mandate for the Authority is to work towards reinforcing the investment climate in the Emirate and to promote its various economic sectors.

RAK is the fourth largest emirate in uae.

Rak was the last emirate to join uae in 1972, post the formal establishment of the latter as a combination of six emirates in the previous year.

RAK occupies a strategic location in the heart of the Middle East on the Strait of Homruz.

Rak’s political system is headed by its ruler HH Sheikh Saqr bin Mohammad Al-Quassimi since 1948, providing 58 years of stable political governance.

The fertile cultivable plains are productively used for vegetables, fruits and grains, while milk and cheese farming is also common in the emirate. Fishing is plentiful in the rich waters of the Arabian Gulf.

Among the major sectors besides crude oil and wholesale retail trade and repair services that have led the growth of the emirates GDP are restaurants and hotels, electricity and water and manufacturing, other sectors.

With a diverse landscape, as well as a vats supply of natural resources, Rak is aiming to become a regional leader in Tourism, real estate and industry.

Situated at the northernmost tip of the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Rak has a different aesthetic from most other gulf cities.

With light traffic, an unpolluted skyline; miles of untouched, white sandy beaches; and towering mountains, the emirate has always been an ideal escape, mixing strictly scenery with its own more laid back rhythm.

Ras Al Khaimah government has launched an offshore facility, second in the uae, that is expected to lure investors looking for a new tax haven.

The initiatives, called “international company registry”, will allow foreign investors to register offshore companies in the RAK Free Trade Zone without the need to establish a physical presence.

RAK Offshore is a true offshore facility and regularity body offering complete offshore non-resident business registration and financial services. It is the cheapest incorporation in the Middle East.

As people gain wealth they naturally want to protect it from political instability: unnecessary taxation: extravagent heirs and any other unwanted creditors.

An offshore IBC (International Business Company) is a route to achieve the levels of protection which is required.

An offshore industry was small and mysterious 20 years ago. The increasing demand for offshore facilities has resulted in the growth of offshore services.

Over 60% of the world’s money flows through offshore today. Another important characteristics features is its confidentiality and security.

Rak offshore is designed to fill a clear gap in the regional and worldwide offshore opportunities available to businesses and financial companies.

Rak offshore aims to be a regional business hub with unique competitive advantages that will appeal to a wide variety of businesses, enterpreneurs and investors.

Ras Al Khaimah uae is in the northern part of the Persian Gulf. Ras (rās al Khaymah, literally “The Top of the Tent”) is one of the emirates of the United Arab Emirates.

It covers an area of 656 square miles (1700 km²). The Ras al khaimah uae is ruled by Sheikh Saqr Bin Mohammad Al Qasimi.

The city of Ras al Khaimah UAE, the capital of emirate, is divided into two parts by a water gill named khour ras al khaimah. Its ferocity and beauty is seen in its traditions and scenery.

An adventurous and spell-binding place, ras al khaimah uae is considered as the ‘Wild west’ of the United Arab Emirates.

Other important districts are Al Hamraniah which is an agricultural area, containing the Ras al khaimah International Airport, the Khaat area, a tourist for treatment, and masafi district that is well known for its orchards and natural potable water.

The main advantages are the following:

In the 1980s, the emirate formed Rak Ceramics, which has become the world’s largest ceramics producer, and Julphar, the Persian Gulf region’s first pharmaceuticals company.

The Emirate of Ras al khaimah uae has an impressive archaeological heritage and a very rich history.

This area had always enticed settlers with its unique combination of all the four types of landscapes found in different parts of the United Arab Emirates: the fertile plains, the mountainous region, coastal areas and the desert environment.

Another remarkable achievement of Ras al Khaimah uae is the formation of Rakia (Ras al kahiamah investment authority).

RAKIA has formed Rak Offshore which is a true offshore facility and regularity body offering complete offshore non-resident business registration and financial services.
