Ras al Khaimah (Ras al khayamah literally means “The top of the tent”) is one of the emirates of the United Arab Emirates.

Ras al khaimah is in the northern part of the Persian Gulf.

It covers an area of 656 square miles. The Emirate is ruled by Sheikh Saqr bin Mohammed al Qassimi.

It is in the northern part of the UAE bordering Oman. Previously affiliated with Sharjah, Ras al khaimah become separate sheikhdom under British protection in 1921.

Following Documents Are Required For A Branch Of A Foreign Company to establish in free zone:

• Memorandum of Association
• The Board of Directors’ Resolution authorizing the opening of the branch office in free zone of Dubai and appointing manager to take full charge of the branch
• Power of Attorney in favour of the Manager
• Certificate of Incorporation
• Photocopy of the Directors’ and Manager’s passport
