For Industrial License, the initial capital required for a business set-up is AED 200000 [US$ 54950] for a Free Zone LLC and AED 150000 [US$ 41200] for a Free Zone Establishment. For LLC companies, if more than 2 a partner, then AED 100000 [US$ 27470] per new partner is required.

RAK Free Zone | Al Hamra Development

At present, the annual lease rent for land is AED 12/- per sq.mtr. Per year in Al Ghail Industrial Park.

The minimum area available is 5,000 sq.mtr.

Please note that you are allowed to build labor / staff accommodation on your plot.

Also, they have built their own power plant for their clients in Al Ghail Industrial Park.  Land is available in both Free Zone and Non Free Zone.

Please note that they have separate warehouses for Free Zone as well as Non Free Zone. The minimum size of warehouses is 312 sq.mtr. The annual lease rent for warehouse is AED 200/- per sq.mtr. Per year including service charge.

The office space rent at the RAKIA Amenity Centre Office Space is AED 70 per sq.ft. Per year.

If you need any employee visas you need to have a minimum 10 sq mtr office at about AED. 8,000 [US$ 2,200] per annum. This allows you to be eligible for for 4 visas. The 3 year visa costs are around AED. 4,500 [US$ 1,230].

There is no minimum capital requirement for establishing a branch in Rak free zone. The minimum capital requirement is AED 100000 for establishing FZE/FZC. The procedures for establishing are very simple and can be completed in a short time, especially if there are no any environmental issues involved.

By segregating business activities according to function, operational requirements, and the needs of the surrounding communities, Rak free zone has created a system of three Free Zone Parks.

The three Parks: Technology Park, Industrial Park and Business Park are spread over three different locations within the Emirate. The 71 hectare RAKFTZ Technology Park is located at the Southern corner of the Emirate.

The first RAK free zone park is a Business Park for trading and service which has fully-equipped offices. In addition, the RAK Exhibition Centre, a five star hotel and a shopping and entertainment complex are all within proximity.

The second section houses the Industrial Park, which was designed for heavy industrial production and warehousing of raw materials or finished products. Plot sizes are provided to suit individual client requirements and are fully serviced with water, electricity and telecommunications.
